The cold liquid slowly ran down my clothes, soaking into the fabric and leaving dark stains behind. I didn\u2019t flinch. Didn\u2019t raise my voice. I simply watched the drops fall, as if it weren\u2019t happening to me at all. Around me, the bar carried on \u2014 loud laughter, clinking glasses, muffled music.
