At the beginning of summer, I traveled to a small seaside town for a few days. My husband stayed home because of work, and our children had long since begun living their own lives, so for the first time in many years, I went on vacation alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, there are situations where clothing should suit the occasion. We dress differently for work, celebrations, and formal events. But this was a beach, a place where people came to swim and relax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So why did I care so much about how much skin a complete stranger\u2019s swimsuit revealed?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The following day, I saw the woman near a small caf\u00e9 on the promenade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
